The total product categories that need to be registered reach 18 types. Before exporting these 18 types of products to China, food manufacturers must complete the registration with the Chinese customs authority. importer will be punished with a fine of 10% to 50% of the value of the goods, if importing above mentioned goods without registered.
Other overseas food production companies will also be required to complete the filing with the Chinese Customs before exporting their products.
