About Pre-Shipment Inspection of Indonesia (PSI)

The Indonesian government implements PSI/Pre-Shipment Inspection for more and more items of imported goods. The inspection company designated by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade will handle the relevant inspections. The exporters will ship to Indonesia before loading the container. Carry out preliminary administrative and technical inspection of the goods, and issue the corresponding inspection report (LS) as one of the documents that must be submitted for Indonesian import customs clearance.
The goods that must be inspected before shipment are:

  3. Cement and cement manufacturing products
  4. plate glass
  5. ceramic tile
  6. Diamond wool
  7. Specific commodities; including 1). Food and beverages; 2). Electrical appliances; 3). Toys; 4). Garments and textiles; 5). Cosmetics and household products; 6). Footwear; 7). Traditional medicine and health products 7 categories
  8. Wood products
  9. Saccharin, sodium cyclamate and their preparations
  10. Plastic materials
  11. Color multifunction printers, photocopiers, printers
  12. Gardening products
  13. Used Equipment
  14. Cooling equipment
  15. lubricating oil
  16. Animals and animal products
  17. Agricultural products such as corn and garlic
  18. Hand tools (hardware materials, etc.)
  19. Measuring and measuring tools and equipment
  20. Steel and its products
  21. All products that must apply for SNI (National Standard) certification according to regulations
