All solid waste will be prohibited import China from Jan. 01 2021

Relevant Chinese authorities issued an announcement on the prohibition of all solid waste imports on November 24, 2020. The announcement clearly stated that from January 1, 2021, all foreign solid wastes are prohibited from being imported into China by any means, and at the same time, no more approval of import permit will be given. For the import application of solid waste, the previously approved import permit will also automatically expire on January 1, 2021.
Based on this, Seamax reminds exporters that for solid recycled materials, scraps, defective products...if want to export to mainland China, special attention should be paid to the content and restrictions of the announcement, so as to avoid failure to clear customs and cause serious losses.
