The strike of port workers in Vancouver, Canada, has entered its 11th day. The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), which represents more than 7,000 dock workers, and the management have not yet reached the conclusion of negotiations with the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) last week. It is still unclear when the strike will be stopped and normal operations at the port will be resumed. Therefore, the strike is bound to cause major delays to the goods export or import Canada through the Port of Vancouver and the goods transshipped to the central United States through the port, reminding shipper that you should choose to enter or exit Canada or transship through other ports in the period.
