Weight limited in USA transportation

Each country has its own standards for the weight limit of the country's road transport. When we transport goods by sea, in addition to complying with the shipping company's requirements for the maximum weight limit (PAYLOAD) of the container, we must also consider the weight limit in the destination country. When transporting by land, the country imposes weight restrictions on road transport to avoid huge fines due to overweight.
Taking the United States as an example, the total weight of goods in a standard tractor-trailer is limited to 80,000 pounds (about 36,000 kilograms) when transported by road. When the weight of the truck, pallet and container is taken into account, the actual cargo weighs approximately 42,000-44,000 lbs (approximately 19,000-20,000 kg). For goods that exceed the country's road transport weight limit regulations, truck carriers with special equipment and special road transport licenses are required for transport.
Each state in the United States has its own standards for the weight limit of road transportation. If you have any doubts about this, you can consult us to obtain correct information.
